Meet Dr. Abby Nye

We would like to take this opportunity to announce that Dr. Abigail Nye is joining the team at Lydiatt and Duru Family Dentistry. Dr. Nye received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2016, after graduating from Michigan State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Upon graduation, Dr. Nye furthered her dental training by completing the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

While she calls Michigan home, Dr. Nye is thrilled to be pursuing her dream of moving out west to Colorado. In her spare time, Dr. Nye enjoys traveling, watching college football & basketball (Go Green!), and spending time with her family and friends. 

When asked how we selected Dr. Nye, Dr’s Lydiatt and Duru responded:

We were looking for three primary attributes in a dentist.

1) A friendly dentist with a sensitive chairside manner.

2) A dentist who displays excellent dental skills with an aptitude to pick up new procedures in a changing environment.

3) A dentist that is enthusiastic about new technology.  Our office is dedicated to providing the most advanced methods for optimum treatments and comfort, which Abby will embrace.

  We believe Dr. Nye will be a great fit for our practice.
